INIMITABLE CONCEPT – INIMIC PROJECTS
(Art + Architecture + Nature + ………)
THROUGH
“INTERDISCIPLINARY CREATIVITY”
A COMBINATION OF DIFFERENT ART FORMS
A UNIQUE NEW VENTURE
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SRI LANKA
A VERY CONTEMPORARY SCHOOL OF THOUGHT
‘INIMIC PROJECTS’, which we are now ready to implement, is our new venture on “INTERDISCIPLINARY CREATIVITY” – an amalgamation of different areas of Fine Arts combined with naturally occurring elements, with back ground research work spanning over two decades. The design approach is expected to benefit all people and appreciated by all lovers of art.
RESEARCH
The M.A. degree which He obtained in 1992 from the U.K. was an interdisciplinary degree in Art & Architecture. It was there that his attention was first drawn to this ‘interconnection or the union between the different disciplines of fine arts’. From that time on He has been working towards a specific goal. Finally, all the research work done on this special topic has resulted in a series of projects that reflect this unique feature – a unification of different forms of fine arts. These projects are categorized under ‘INIMIC PROJECTS’.
OUR VISION: To offer pleasurable and unforgettable experience to the visitor in created spaces –
The visitor can expect a pleasant, visual impressions, which creates warmth and welcoming feelings, causing him to feel relaxed, thus helping to unwind, with refreshing thoughts of oneness with the place.
OUR MISSION: Through interdisciplinary unification to create extra ordinary spaces –
Articulate integration of different art forms such as – painting, architecture and sculpture, combined with nature, as a design approach to create unusually creative environments.
- Our Unique Concept | Our Difference | Our Products | Other Details
- Like in the case of bridges and the other structures, though there are internal forces, pulling and pushing, yet as a whole it stands unshaken – a state of equilibrium is achieved.
- Like opposite colours in the colour wheel, belong to different colour schemes, yet they compliment each other – a position of balance and sense of completeness is achieved.
- Like in music, through meaningful integration of components, harmonic parallelism in visual terms is achieved.
- Uncommon and unusual in nature.
- Unique concept.
- Meaningful with depth.
- Aesthetically appreciative.
- Painting
- Architecture
- Sculpture and other related areas such as-
- Poetry
- Naturally occurring elements, organic geometry and rhythms.
- SCULPTURAL CHALETS – ‘Sculptural Architecture’ and more.
- SCULPTURAL ART GALLERY CAFES – ‘Sculptural Architecture’ and more.
- SCULPTURE PARKS – ‘Imaginary Figures’ with prehistoric resemblance.

Environmental Planning
An attempt is made to create visual movements, as in dancing, music, verse or the like. This is achieved through the art of organizing or arranging the constituent parts of the design in a proper relation and interdependence of parts with reference to one another and to an artistic whole.
Different lines – straight and curved are placed side by side, creating interesting and unusual shapes. This is more an exercise of intuition, in creativity, backed by experience, rather than the formal approach to design. Also, you may find some parallelism to this, in natural sciences – intrinsically and hidden, interesting combination of lines and shapes in thermodynamic charts, for example.
Different shapes are in juxtaposition – posing near each other. In visual terms, these different shapes weigh differently and instigate dynamic sets with different strengths. This can be compared to forces – tensile and compressive, in engineering structures such as bridges and buildings.
Different forms are created when the shapes mentioned above join with the third dimension and in return these forms are in juxtaposition. At first glance, it may seem that the forms contrast! – In actual fact, yes they do! – like the opposite colours in the colour cycle! – but not so, – when you take into consideration the contexture – manner of interweaving several parts into one body.
